Truworths is looking for a skilled Planner to join our Buying and Planning teams. This role involves leveraging the latest merchandise systems, sales forecasting, and strategic product management to optimise product performance and store profitability. The Planner will play a central role in managing merchandise from inception to delivery, collaborating closely with distribution, store design, and other business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers to drive product success.
- Utilise both international systems and bespoke in-house tools for effective merchandise planning.
- Ensure the right merchandise reaches the right stores, at the right price, and on time.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience, preferably within a fashion retail environment.
- Relevant numerical tertiary qualification.
- Experience with systems such as Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM is advantageous.
