Introduction
Clicks Group Careers is recruiting two Pharmacist Assistant QPB X2 to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care within scope of practice while supporting daily dispensary administration in line with Standard Operating Procedures. These roles focus on accurate script processing, efficient dispensing support, and excellent patient satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Objectives
Customer Interaction & Confidentiality
- Engage with customers professionally while maintaining strict confidentiality in line with SOPs and agreed service timelines.
- Communicate clearly and courteously to support positive patient experiences.
Dispensary Administration & Script Processing
- Administer prescriptions and complete all claiming and capturing procedures accurately and timeously.
- Capture prescriptions received at the Central Pharmacy Centre with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient profiles in line with company standards.
- Handle prescription-related queries and follow up to resolution.
Clinical Support & Collaboration
- Liaise with healthcare professionals when required to support safe, effective patient care.
- Assist with chronic authorisations and related documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Operational Support
- Engage with customers via telephone and other channels regarding medication and healthcare services.
- Support ad hoc operational requirements in line with business needs.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve queries and ensure timely follow-up.
Knowledge
- Product knowledge, including OTC medicines
- Regulatory and legal knowledge aligned with South African Pharmacy Council requirements
- Chronic authorisation processes and procedures
- Customer service excellence principles
- Ethical working practices and compliance standards

- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office
