FITTER – Sea Harvest Vacancies

Job Purpose
Perform high-level fitting work across pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and reliably through effective fault-finding and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out precision fitting, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Learn and understand machine operations to improve troubleshooting and repair accuracy.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with operational standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring issues.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• Proven experience in fitting, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with effective fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
