Financial Planning & Analysis – Sea Harvest Vacancies

Job Purpose & Scope
Support the Group FP&A Manager with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Deliver accurate, high-quality reports and insights while driving automation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Performance Areas
Forecasting

• Prepare periodic group forecasts in line with business requirements.
• Evaluate results and test forecasts for reasonableness.
• Investigate and explain significant variances.
• Maintain, enhance, and continuously improve forecast models.

Annual Budgeting

• Prepare budgets within agreed timelines and guidelines.
• Compile budget reports and conduct performance analysis.
• Support management commentary and presentation preparation.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Prepare monthly, board, half-year, year-end, and ad hoc reports.
• Deliver group performance analysis for each reporting period.
• Contribute to management commentary and presentations.

Decision Support & Advisory

• Respond to ad hoc management queries and requests.
• Investigate issues, provide insights, and recommend actions where required.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Drive automation initiatives and process optimisation to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• BCom or relevant tertiary qualification; CIMA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar FP&A role.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with QlikView, Adaptive Insights, and Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of key business processes and practices.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Methodical, meticulous, and able to work independently and within a team.
• Logical thinker with strong numerical ability.
• Deadline-driven with strong time-management skills.
