We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Superintendent to oversee and maintain all aspects of food safety and quality control for frozen incoming materials, ensuring strict adherence to the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain food safety and quality control standards for all frozen incoming materials.
• Ensure compliance with company Food Safety/Quality Management Systems and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify quality and safety standards are upheld.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans as required.
• Train and supervise quality control staff to maintain high standards of performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality control function.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

• Proven experience in quality control or food safety management, preferably in the seafood or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and training skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and report writing skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality.
