Sab Vacancies – BREWING OPERATOR

About the Role

The BREWING OPERATOR is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of brewing, fermentation, filtration, and packaging processes. This role ensures high-quality production, optimal plant performance, and the development of team capabilities within AB InBev.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate the Brew House, Fermentation, Filtration, and Packaging (kegging and bottling) plants and processes.
• Optimize plant and process performance where appropriate.
• Perform quality checks and analyses, recording results accurately in the relevant information systems.
• Apply problem-solving techniques (e.g., quick fix routines, 5Y) to address quality or process issues; escalate unresolved problems to BAM.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks, apply 5S principles, and identify and correct unsafe work practices.
• Support the creation, drafting, and documentation of standard work procedures, including problem-solving routines.
• Complete autonomous maintenance tasks and respond rapidly to upstream or downstream process triggers.
• Participate actively in team meetings, goal reviews, and use the gap list to record issues and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct thorough handovers to incoming shift teams, ensuring continuity in plant performance and quality standards.
• Develop personal skills and support the learning of fellow Brewery Technicians.
• Demonstrate initiative, energy, and achievement drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
• Maintain clear communication, support team collaboration, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Food Science, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic PC literacy, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
