About the Role:
The Freight Forwarder, Oil & Gas, Air & Sea is responsible for managing all logistics movements—air, sea, and road—for a specific Oil & Gas project in Africa, from shipment receipt through to project close-out. The role ensures timely delivery, compliance, accurate documentation, cost recovery, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5–7 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry
• 3 years’ experience using CargoWise1 or similar customs/forwarding software
• Knowledge of forwarding, logistics, and clearing processes
• Experience in Africa logistics and familiarity with required documentation advantageous

Qualifications:

• Matric (essential)
• Diploma or BCom in Logistics advantageous

Computer Skills:

• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Office 365 (Teams, OneNote, Forms, Outlook), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• CargoWise1 or C2C

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global shipments to ensure project completion on time and within budget
• Oversee air, sea, and road freight movements, ensuring all document requirements are fulfilled
• Ensure timely billing and cost recovery for each shipment and the entire project
• Report shipment status and progress to internal and external clients
• Stand in for other CPT Project team members when required
• Adhere to DSV Credit Risk Policy and identify potential project risks, implementing mitigation strategies
• Dispatch air and sea freight shipments to clients in Angola promptly
• Maintain process orientation and accuracy in all logistics operations
