Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Job
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with a diverse customer base that includes retail, commercial, and industrial clients. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and delivering tailored solutions that support long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple market sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business
  • Achieve or exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Manage customer credit accounts, including payment terms and follow-ups on outstanding payments
  • Present and promote company products and services to current and prospective clients
  • Address customer concerns effectively and provide suitable solutions to overcome objections
  • Monitor and record customer feedback, competitor activities, and market pricing trends
  • Implement sales strategies that align with broader marketing initiatives
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Follow assigned daily route plans and ensure customer visits are completed according to schedule

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
