Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and visionary Art Director who is passionate about transforming complex ideas into powerful visual stories. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on conceptual thinking and can translate ideas into compelling designs across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.
You will play a key role in shaping brand narratives, leading creative direction, and delivering high-impact visual communication that resonates with target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual solutions based on creative briefs
- Lead the creation of campaign assets including landing pages, social media content, banner ads, website visuals, posters, and other marketing materials
- Translate conceptual ideas into visually engaging designs across multiple platforms
- Manage the full design process from concept to final delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs within deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative outputs with project objectives
- Contribute original ideas and creative direction to campaign briefs
- Guide and mentor junior designers to maintain high creative standards
- Source imagery and visual elements that enhance campaign concepts
- Ensure consistency with brand identity and CI guidelines across all designs
- Prepare artwork for production, including print-ready files
- Edit and enhance images for use in print and digital media
- Stay up to date with design trends and industry best practices
- Create graphics, illustrations, motion visuals, and layouts that support brand storytelling
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Design or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in digital design within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and diverse design styles
- Experience working in advertising environments alongside copywriters
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and general computer literacy
- Strong understanding of DTP and print production, including print-ready artwork setup
- Ability to design static and dynamic web and social media banners
- Knowledge of design across desktop and mobile platforms
- Experience with animation and GIF creation
- Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and design principles
- Knowledge of print processes and repro techniques
- Strong grasp of the full design lifecycle
