Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the customer base across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities across multiple market segments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
• Present and promote company products and services to both new and existing customers
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives
• Execute planned sales activities and campaigns to drive market growth

Customer Relationship Management
• Manage customer accounts, including credit terms and payment follow-ups
• Address customer queries, resolve issues, and handle objections effectively
• Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen long-term partnerships
• Gather and report customer feedback to improve service delivery

Market Intelligence and Reporting
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics
• Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Follow assigned route plans and ensure timely customer visits

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 5–10 years’ experience in a sales environment
