Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a detail-driven Quality Inspector to evaluate and ensure the quality of dealer and in-house alarm installations. The role focuses on maintaining high service standards, identifying installation issues, and supporting continuous improvement through accurate reporting and analysis.
Overall Purpose of the Role
To conduct thorough inspections of alarm system installations, ensuring compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and safety regulations while maintaining excellent service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Proven experience in technical alarm systems with a strong track record
- PSIRA Registration (Grade C)
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Listener systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional appearance and sober habits
- Strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct installation inspections with clients
- Capture, record, and file all inspection results accurately
- Complete a minimum of 8 inspections daily with full documentation
- Compile detailed inspection reports based on findings
- Collect and document photographic evidence for failed inspections
- Report inspection outcomes to management and assist in identifying recurring issues
- Liaise with dealer and in-house teams regarding inspection feedback
- Analyse inspection data and report on trends to improve performance
- Travel to various branches as required
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicle
- Adhere strictly to all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Provide support in resolving client concerns and complaints
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Maintain punctuality and meet agreed deadlines
- Uphold high service standards and align with company vision and mission
