Role Purpose
The Wellness Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by providing professional, knowledgeable advice on wellness, health, and skincare products. This role focuses on driving sales, promoting products, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a positive customer experience that builds loyalty and maximises revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and advise on the selection of products and services that meet their wellness needs.

  • Drive sales through promotion, cross-selling, and upselling to consistently meet monthly targets.

  • Monitor sales performance, evaluate product effectiveness, and recommend improvements to optimise product offerings and increase revenue.

  • Maintain current knowledge of all wellness, health, and skincare products, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Execute operational activities within the wellness department, including stock management, reducing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.

  • Ensure in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met.

  • Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and providing a friendly, professional experience.

  • Promote the Clicks ClubCard, enrolling new members to achieve participation targets.

  • Increase profitability and customer loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive wellness products.

  • Support the brand in becoming the customer’s first choice for health and wellness by living and driving company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential: Grade 12

  • Desirable: Relevant qualification in beauty, skincare, or wellness

  • Desirable: Experience in retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing within the beauty/wellness sector

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding and application of selling principles

  • Knowledge of retail/FMCG merchandising and promotion practices

  • Familiarity with stock management procedures

  • Knowledge of customer service excellence

  • Knowledge of wellness, beauty, and skincare products

  • Results and target-driven mindset

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
