Control Room Technical Support – Pep Vacancies
Key Responsibilities

Monitor all PEP security systems to ensure continuous operational effectiveness

Provide remote technical support to alarm and CCTV technicians
-
Add, update, and manage alarm and safe PIN codes
-
Administer in-store safe requirements and related system configurations
-
Monitor and manage fail-to-open and fail-to-close alarm events
-
Maintain and update the department technical tracker
-
Create and manage work orders for unresolved technical issues
-
Escalate complex technical problems in line with procedures
-
Audit store alarm and CCTV programming and system setups
-
Provide basic technical support for store-related alarm and CCTV issues
-
Manage and coordinate communication via relevant technical WhatsApp groups
Job Requirements
-
Grade 12 qualification
-
PSIRA Grade B certification
-
3–5 years’ experience in a security or technical environment
-
Experience with Patriot Monitoring Software or similar monitoring platforms
-
Knowledge of Texecom alarm systems, including backend solutions such as Wintex and Maintex
-
Experience with Hikvision systems, including backend configuration, remote programming, and monitoring
-
Understanding of networks and IT systems will be an advantage
