Beauty Assistant – Clicks Group Careers

Role Purpose
The Beauty Assistant is responsible for providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting sales, and maintaining high standards of merchandise and housekeeping to build customer loyalty and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and recommend products and services that meet their needs.

• Drive and maximise sales through promotion, cross-selling, and upselling to consistently meet monthly targets.

• Monitor sales performance, evaluate product effectiveness, and suggest improvements to optimise offerings and increase revenue.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.

• Execute all operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, minimising shrinkage, and maintaining housekeeping and administration standards.

• Ensure in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met.

• Deliver superior customer service by acting as a visible brand ambassador and providing a friendly, professional experience.

• Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members to achieve participation targets.

• Increase profitability and brand loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.

• Support the brand’s vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential: Grade 12

• Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification

• Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
