Description
Provide exceptional customer service in-store while assisting with merchandising, shelf price labelling, and maintaining housekeeping standards within the assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
-
Minimum Grade 10 (NQF 3) with 1 year work-related experience, or Grade 12 without prior work experience

Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language
-
Valid South African ID or work permit
-
Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
-
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
-
Advise and assist customers on products and queries
-
Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally
Merchandising Standards
-
Merchandize bulk stock areas safely according to store layout plans and planograms
-
Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and organized
Housekeeping
-
Keep the area free of obstacles, ensuring customers can move safely
-
Merchandize stock immediately after receipt
-
Ensure shelf price labelling is correct
-
Complete checklists for canteen and toilet/shower schedules as required
Safety (OHSA) Requirements

Adhere to all safety standards within the area of responsibility

Ensure stock is merchandized safely for both customers and colleagues
-
Report any safety discrepancies to the Store Manager
Stock Loss Management

Report damaged stock within area of responsibility to the Store Manager
