Job Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and achieving sales targets for the Western Cape Direct Sales Division. The role includes lead generation, business growth, client liaison, and effective management of the sales team to ensure objectives are met within a collaborative matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and provide strategic direction to Direct Team Leaders and sales team members
- Deploy resources effectively across specific geographical areas to maximize sales growth
- Oversee financial budgeting and planning for team development
- Monitor business growth and promote brand development
- Ensure targets for client acquisition and installation revenue are consistently met
- Manage daily sales activities and reporting
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure excellent service delivery
- Manage, mentor, and discipline direct reports as required
- Coordinate and execute regular sales promotions and marketing initiatives
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to EHS standards within the region
- Enhance employee engagement and foster a high-performance sales culture
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Management
- Proven experience in the security industry
- Prior management experience, leading sales teams
- PSIRA registration required
- Willingness to attend functions and marketing drives outside of normal business hours, including weekends
- Computer literate (MS Office, email, internet)
