Job Purpose
The Beauty Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products. This role focuses on building customer loyalty, maintaining excellent merchandise presentation, and maximising sales through effective customer engagement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on beauty and skincare products.

Drive sales performance by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently achieve department targets.

Monitor product performance and sales trends, providing input to enhance product selection and increase turnover.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and in-store events.

Execute daily operational activities including stock control, shrinkage prevention, administration, and housekeeping.

Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently upheld.

Act as a brand ambassador by offering visible, friendly, and professional customer service at all times.

Promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard to achieve participation targets.

Increase profitability and customer loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.

Support the company’s vision by consistently living and promoting organisational values.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Grade 12

Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification

Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environments
Skills and Knowledge

Strong understanding of selling principles and customer engagement

Knowledge of beauty and skincare products and trends

Understanding of retail merchandising and promotional practices

Knowledge of stock management and shrinkage control
