Role Purpose
The Shop Assistant / Cashier is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and friendly service at the point of sale, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience while supporting store operations, merchandising, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities

Execute all point-of-sale operations accurately and efficiently, including scanning merchandise and collecting payments.

Ensure the safe handling of cash at all times and maintain accuracy in cash management.

Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members to achieve participation targets.

Inform customers about promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.

Deliver excellent customer service by acting as a visible brand ambassador, providing a friendly and professional service.

Maintain merchandising standards and general housekeeping according to store and visual guidelines.

Stay updated on product knowledge, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
