Dis-Chem Pharmacies is building a Beauty Therapist Talent Pool for its various stores. This initiative ensures a pre-screened and skilled group of professionals is readily available for future salon opportunities. Candidates in this pool will possess the expertise and qualifications required to provide exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent salon services including facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures according to Dis-Chem standards

• Respond to customer queries, complaints, and compliments professionally

• Stay updated on new products, treatments, and service techniques

• Maintain and manage salon stock levels effectively

• Ensure all equipment is clean, operational, and safe for use

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric

• 2-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy

• Minimum of 12 months’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon

• Computer literate with sound numerical skills

• Willingness to work retail hours

Advantageous

• 3-year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy

• Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon

• Knowledge of soft laser, bio-magnetic therapy, microdermabrasion, slimming treatments, and spray tanning

• Training on additional salon equipment

• Bilingual proficiency

• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications

• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)

Special Conditions of Employment
