Job Overview
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner: Supply Chain, this role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality financial analysis, governance oversight, and strategic insights to support business performance and cost optimization.
Key Purpose
The Finance Analyst will provide accurate financial reporting and analysis to support budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring. The role ensures strong governance and audit compliance while partnering with stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Cost Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly consolidated cost reports, proactively identifying and highlighting risks of overspend.
Governance and Risk Compliance
Implement and monitor RACM framework compliance, conduct quarterly self-assessments, track compliance, and drive corrective action plans.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Coordinate the full annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, consolidate submissions, and ensure alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
Performance and Margin Insights
Provide detailed margin, pricing, and return-on-investment analysis to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
Financial Governance and Training
Promote strong financial governance through training initiatives, policy implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
Audit Support
Act as the key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of accurate supporting documentation and evidence.
Team Oversight
Oversee financial planning activities, guide team outputs, and support development to ensure alignment with finance objectives.
Stock and Asset Control
Manage quarterly stock counts, asset verifications, and impairment reviews to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
Required
BCom (Hons) in Financial Management or equivalent
Advantageous
CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
Experience
3–6 years’ experience in financial management, preferably within the FMCG environment, with proven exposure to:

Cost and margin analysis

Budgeting and forecasting processes

Governance, risk, and audit compliance

Advanced MS Excel and financial systems, with D365 experience being advantageous

Margin improvement or pricing strategy initiatives
Skills and Competencies

Strong ability to consolidate, analyze, and present complex financial data

Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise, including dashboards and reporting tools

Sound knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks

Effective leadership and coaching capability within finance teams

Strong business partnering and communication skills with senior stakeholders

High-level critical thinking for scenario planning, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation

Ability to design and improve financial templates, workflows, and reporting processes
