G4S Vacancies – Junior Technician
G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leader in integrated security management solutions, is seeking a Junior Technician to join our operations in Hotazel, Northern Cape. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Technical Manager and play a key role in supporting technical operations, contract administration, and quality service delivery.

Main Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Financial Performance

Ensure effective administration of the technology contract to support strong financial performance

Monitor contract profitability with accurate record-keeping and billable hours
-
Manage job cards, invoicing documentation, and ensure data accuracy
Operational Support
-
Complete daily technical and administrative tasks while maintaining high standards
-
Support and monitor subordinate activities where required
Client Service & Quality Management
-
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide high-quality service
-
Ensure adherence to operational processes and quality standards
Business Development Support
-
Identify potential new business opportunities within the region
-
Support growth with existing clients through excellent service delivery
Health & Safety Compliance
-
Participate in the development and implementation of annual safety plans
-
Attend safety meetings, training, and refresher programs
-
Report and follow up on all safety-related incidents
-
Comply with all workplace safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times
Qualifications and Experience
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Formal Security Management Training (advantageous)
-
2–3 years’ management or similar experience in Electronic Security Services

Strong technical experience in:

Intruder Detection

Fire Detection & Suppression

Software Knowledge

Time & Attendance systems

Communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP)
