Job Description
Anova is seeking a reliable and proactive Mobile Driver / Data Capturer to ensure the safe transportation of staff and outreach teams, manage mobile clinics or work vehicles, and support logistical operations. The role also includes capturing and reporting data from outreach activities to support program monitoring and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Transport and Logistics
- Safely transport staff to outreach sites and offices.
- Manage and maintain mobile clinic/work vehicles, including fuel, mileage, and maintenance records.
- Load and unload field equipment such as chairs, tents, and generators.
- Report any vehicle damages and comply with road safety regulations.
- Adhere to Anova’s vehicle policies and submit weekly vehicle inspection checklists.
Outreach Support
- Assist outreach teams with youth-centred education, self-care advice, and risk reduction strategies.
- Support the Human Rights Ambassador in awareness on GBV, PrEP, and SRH.
- Link HIV-positive clients to care and support ART initiation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, proper waste management, and IQC standards.
- Manage HTS supplies and ensure appropriate storage.
Administration and Data Management
- Capture client data daily and monitor progress to meet targets.
- Perform delegated administrative tasks and maintain professional conduct.
- Build relationships with health facilities to facilitate client linkage.
- Submit timesheets and other reports on time.
- Utilize SOPs for data management and quality assurance.
- Conduct routine data audits and reporting for key indicators.
- Use electronic medical records systems to generate line lists for patient and program management.
- Maintain proper filing and data management systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP.
- Minimum 3 years’ driving experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
