Job Purpose

The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for initiating, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of Quality and Food Safety in line with the company’s food safety and quality management systems. This role ensures that all processes meet regulatory standards and support the company’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Monitor compliance with food safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement in processes, systems, and controls, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, food safety, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to quality and safety management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all quality and safety incidents are investigated and resolved effectively.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in Quality and Food Safety management within the food processing or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and quality management systems.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement and compliance.
