This role requires a welcoming attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Seat guests at appropriate tables and present menus.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls and handle reservations efficiently.
• Manage waiting lists during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand.
• Assist with general restaurant tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and food service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.

Experience Required:

• Cashiering: 2–3 years
• Customer communication: 2–3 years
