Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Excellent customer service skills

Strong communication skills; fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)

Previous retail experience will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service

Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a great shopping experience

Assist customers in locating products

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
Cashier Duties

Process cash and card transactions accurately

Handle Lay-Bys and customer refunds
-
Balance tills and report discrepancies to the Supervisor
Merchandising & Housekeeping

Ensure stock is correctly priced and attractively displayed

Maintain product availability on the sales floor

Keep the store clean and well organised

Stay updated on current promotions
Risk & Stock Control
-
Ensure products are tagged according to company policy
-
Participate in stock takes

Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent behaviour to Management
Values & Compliance

Consistently apply Ackermans’ values, policies, and procedures in all aspects of the role
