Job Description:
Tekkie Town is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Store Manager to lead our Ladysmith team. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager, the Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, ensure profitability, drive sales, minimize stock losses, manage expenses, and lead a high-performing team. Candidates must reside in or near Ladysmith.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric

Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role

Fluent in English and one other relevant official South African language

Strong interpersonal and selling skills
-
Logical thinking and strong analytical ability
-
High energy, target-driven, and performance-focused
-
Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills
-
Flexible, positive attitude, and able to work under varying conditions

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Own transport and a valid driver’s license (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:

Drive store turnover, meet budgets, and exceed monthly targets

Ensure store administration aligns with Standard Operating Procedures

Maintain stock losses below benchmark
-
Implement promotions and visual merchandising standards
-
Stay updated on new stock arrivals and ensure efficient unpacking processes

Maintain brand standards in line with customer expectations
-
Lead and develop store staff, including coaching and succession planning
-
Ensure adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures

Uphold and promote Tekkie Town culture and values

Oversee store opening and closing procedures
