Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a qualified and experienced Training Instructor to deliver, facilitate, and assess training interventions in line with industry standards and company requirements. Reporting to the Regional Training Manager, this role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards, legislative requirements, and best practices within the training environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present, facilitate, and assess training programmes in accordance with internal standards and industry regulations
  • Guide and support learners throughout training programmes to ensure competency outcomes are achieved
  • Implement effective facilitation and assessment methods aligned with curriculum requirements
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance frameworks and relevant legislation
  • Maintain accurate training records and uphold high standards of documentation
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and training initiatives as required
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Compliance & Standards

  • Adhere to regulatory and quality assurance bodies including SASSETA, PSIRA, SAPS, DoL, PFTC, CAA, QCTO, and other applicable authorities
  • Ensure all training interventions meet legislative and industry-specific requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • PSIRA Instructor Grades E-A
  • Valid Driver’s License (EB)
  • Facilitator registration with ETDP SETA
  • Assessor registration with ETDP SETA & SASSETA
  • Moderator registration with ETDP SETA & SASSETA will be advantageous
  • General Security Practices qualification (NQF 3)
  • Specialist Security Practices qualification (NQF 4)
  • Competency in Firearm Unit Standards including Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, Carbine, and PFTC Instructor certification
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within a training environment
  • Tactical training experience is essential
  • No criminal record or pending cases
  • Own reliable transport

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel
  • Strong numerical accuracy and reporting capability
