About the Program
Value Logistics is seeking a vigilant Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator to support daily operational efficiency through real-time vehicle monitoring, incident management, accurate reporting, and proactive fault resolution to minimise downtime and support service delivery.
Purpose of the Job
The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator monitors fleet activity, manages incidents and vehicle faults, ensures procedural compliance, and maintains professional conduct, health, safety, and housekeeping standards while providing operational support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Monitoring and Incident Management
- Monitor vehicle activity in line with company procedures
- Identify, record, and report deviations and exceptions promptly
- Acknowledge and action all alarms within required timeframes
- Respond to incidents and accidents professionally in accordance with protocols
Communication and Reporting
- Obtain daily route sheets from relevant business units
- Record accurate operational and vehicle performance information
- Compile and distribute operational reports timeously to stakeholders
- Log and report all incidents and unusual events accurately
Fault Management and Vehicle Repairs
- Update and track vehicle faults daily on the system or approved logs
- Communicate faults to relevant departments and service providers
- Follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely and effective repairs
Operational Support
- Provide operational assistance as required
- Maintain professional conduct when engaging with staff, customers, and external parties
- Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards in line with SOPs
Housekeeping, Health and Safety
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment daily
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and safe working practices
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
