Responsibilities

• Manage large off-site warehouse and distribution centers, overseeing stock forecasting, sourcing, picking, and quality control.
• Plan and organise warehouse staff, equipment, and product availability to meet delivery schedules.
• Coordinate planned distribution of products, staff, vehicles, routes, and customers.
• Optimise fleet utilisation and manage equipment including pallets and forklifts.
• Ensure accurate stock control, on-time loading, stock rotation, and product quality.
• Monitor and manage crate losses, operational costs, dispatch damages, and product reconciliation.
• Track stock variances and provide management information.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of warehouse manpower.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain CSA controls and operational procedures.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and investigate/report departmental incidents.
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Matric with a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Additional advantage: Qualifications in Operations Management or Business/Finance Management.
• 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years experience in a junior managerial role.
• Proficient in SAP (MM, SD) and MS Office.
• Strong business planning and operational management skills.
