Job Description
Digital Solutions Governance Manager
Job Summary:
AECOM is seeking a Digital Solutions Governance Manager to lead the establishment and enhancement of our governance framework, ensuring strategic alignment, risk management, and operational efficiency. This role oversees a team responsible for governance pillars, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and serves as the primary liaison between business lines and the Governance Council.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management (3 Direct Reports):
- Guide a team including a Budget & Planning Analyst, Software Rationalization Specialist, and License Management & Analytics Specialist.
- Ensure financial oversight, software optimization, and compliance with licensing agreements.
- Provide mentorship, performance management, and clear goal alignment.
Governance Framework & Policy:
- Develop, implement, and refine governance policies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of governance processes and decisions.
Business Line Coordination & Facilitation:
- Serve as the primary liaison between governance teams and business lines.
- Engage stakeholders to address governance needs and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Governance Council Management:
- Organize and lead Governance Council meetings.
- Prepare agendas, track decisions, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate governance-related risks.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure policy adherence.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Project Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in governance, operations, or IT management, with 2+ years in leadership.
- Proven expertise in governance frameworks, budgeting, software lifecycle management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
