Job Description
The AMC Representative plays a key role in ensuring efficient daily airport operations by monitoring flight activity, coordinating with service providers, and supporting on-time performance in line with FlySafair operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily operational plans as issued by the Operations Control Centre (OCC).

Distribute operational updates relating to planned disruptions, constraints, or service provider shortages.

Cross-check daily aircraft movements against ACSA parking bay allocations.

Monitor the Apex system to identify abnormalities, potential delays, and bay or gate changes.
-
Analyse aircraft technical issues and escalate where required.

Communicate accurate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to service providers to ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Monitor operational performance, including on-time performance (OTP).

Contribute to the development and agreement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Identify and monitor deviations from agreed plans and performance targets.

Negotiate optimal bay and gate allocations in line with FlySafair operational preferences.

Provide comprehensive and accurate end-of-shift handovers.

Review operational reports to identify trends, non-conformances, and deviations, and engage stakeholders to address gaps.

Follow up with service providers to ensure services are positioned in the correct bays in accordance with SLA requirements.

Participate in internal and external operational communications where input is required.
Job Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (Essential).
-
Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ airport operational experience (Essential).

Previous experience in an Airport Management Centre (AMC) environment (Essential).

Willingness to work extended hours beyond normal office times when operationally required.
