Job Description
The GDS Billing & Reconciliation Administrator supports accurate billing, reconciliation, and administrative processes within the ticketing and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities

Capture, verify, and manually close IET coupons in accordance with company procedures.

Support ticketing review activities, including ADM report updates and fare validation checks.

Record unbillable or rejected coupons and escalate unresolved matters to senior team members.

Assist with the administration of GDS refunds and re-accommodation queries.

Update billing tables and reconciliation spreadsheets as required.

Maintain the GDS costings sheet, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

Assist with routine reconciliations between ticketing records and financial systems.

Perform filing, data capturing, and document control activities.

Track assigned tasks, follow up on outstanding items, and provide regular progress updates.

Contribute to departmental efficiency by supporting daily operational requirements.

Provide timely information to Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Distribution teams when requested.

Respond to basic ADM-related queries and escalate complex issues appropriately.

Support communication with interline partners when required.
Job Requirements
-
Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential).
-
GDS Training or Certification (Preferred).
-
1–3 years’ experience in an administrative or finance support role, preferably within the airline or travel industry (Essential).

Exposure to billing or reconciliation processes (Advantageous).

Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data formatting (Advantageous).

Familiarity with interline billing and ADM processes (Advantageous).

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Comfortable working with data and systems-intensive environments.
