Job Overview
The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for delivering Danone’s value promise to customers and consumers by ensuring full conformity of products, processes, and behaviours. This role leads quality and food safety excellence within the plant, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong quality culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products that meet customer and consumer expectations

Lead and manage plant quality, food safety, and laboratory operations

Drive compliance with quality and food safety systems, standards, and regulatory requirements

Oversee quality control, quality assurance, auditing, and continuous improvement activities
-
Promote a strong quality mindset and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices
-
Partner with cross-functional teams to embed quality and food safety across all processes

Lead, develop, and engage quality teams to achieve operational excellence
Qualifications

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a relevant related qualification
Experience and Skills
-
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality and food safety within an FMCG environment

At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership or management role

Proven experience in food processing and manufacturing environments, including laboratory management

Strong expertise in quality control, quality assurance, and auditing practices
-
In-depth knowledge and practical application of ISO standards, FSSC 22000, PRPs, HACCP, GMP, and related systems

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills
