Job Description
The End Controller is responsible for ensuring that all documentation for transactions is accurately checked, recorded, and authorised when stock and/or fixed assets leave the store or when customers return stock.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 with 1 year relevant work experience, or 2 years relevant work experience

Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language

Must be fully literate

Strong numerical skills

Proven attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Key Performance Areas
End Control and Security
-
Ensure that no goods leave the store without valid and authorised documentation
-
Verify that all documentation is completed correctly and in full
-
Confirm accurate capture of date, time, sequence, and required signatures
-
Record and authorise all customer returns in the End Controller register
-
Ensure a trained backup employee is available during shift changes, breaks, and leave
-
Sign End Control keys in and out daily
-
Ensure all entry and exit doors are closed when not in use
-
Ensure loading and off-loading shutter doors remain closed when not in use
-
Report any suspicious behaviour, persons, or vehicles to management immediately
-
Conduct random employee searches in line with company policy
Customer Service

Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service when checking customer goods in and out

Direct customers to the appropriate staff member for further assistance
