Job Purpose

Deliver service excellence by providing professional, knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products while effectively managing merchandise and maintaining high standards of housekeeping to build customer loyalty and maximise sales
Job Objectives

Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable beauty and skincare products and services

Drive and maximise beauty department sales through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently achieve monthly targets
-
Monitor sales performance, evaluate product success, and recommend improvements to enhance product offerings and increase turnover
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate and relevant advice
-
Execute all operational activities efficiently, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration
-
Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently maintained within the beauty department
-
Act as a brand ambassador by delivering friendly, professional, and visible customer service
-
Promote and grow Clicks ClubCard participation by enrolling new members and driving engagement
-
Increase profitability and customer loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive beauty products
-
Live and promote company values to position the brand as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Grade 12
-
Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
-
Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environments
Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge

Strong understanding and application of selling principles

Knowledge of retail or FMCG environments, merchandising, and promotional practices

Understanding of stock management procedures

Knowledge of customer service excellence standards

Sound knowledge of beauty and skincare products
