Job Description
Truworths is seeking a detail-oriented Allocator to join our Distribution Department at Head Office in Cape Town. The Allocator plays a critical role in ensuring merchandise is accurately allocated from the Truworths Distribution Centre (TDC) to stores across the continent, supporting the broader merchandising team in delivering stock where it can be sold to customers.
Key Responsibilities

Create and manage stock allocations for individual merchandise orders from TDC to stores.

Manage and maintain a sample portfolio.

Add duty codes to individual styles and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Compile weekly reports and provide feedback to the merchandise teams.

Liaise with TDC staff to resolve allocation and distribution queries.

Manage interbranch samples efficiently.

Act as a back-up for other areas within the department when required.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Matric qualification with strong numerical and analytical skills.

Knowledge of MFP, RMS Viewer, Size Curves, JDA, and BDM (Distribution Centre systems).

Strong administration and organizational skills.

Experience in retail or logistics environments is advantageous.
