Job Purpose
To manage and operate a commercially viable clinic while delivering professional, high-quality nursing services that meet patient needs and align with company standards. This role ensures effective clinic management, patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a commercially viable clinic in accordance with company guidelines.

Provide lifestyle management screenings and assessments.

Conduct “Well Baby” clinics, including immunisations and infant health monitoring.

Deliver reproductive health services and adult immunisations.
-
Provide Primary Health Care services, including minor ailments management and wound care.
-
Render phlebotomy services efficiently and safely.
-
Compile professional, stock, and financial management reports.
-
Manage medical waste, maintain a safe clinic environment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Handle adverse events and emergencies appropriately.
-
Counsel and advise patients on health, wellness, and weight management; refer patients to Pharmacists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Plan and implement “Health Days” and other wellness projects.

Develop and maintain networks with other health professionals.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:

Registered Professional Nurse.
-
3-year diploma or 4-year degree in Nursing.
-
Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in nursing, preferably in Community Health, Primary Health, or Midwifery.

Experience with Unisolv and Allegra preferred.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Skills and Knowledge:

Maintain patient information securely, confidentially, and accurately on electronic systems.

Strong administrative and reporting skills for efficient clinic operations.

Ensure payment controls and adherence to service billing procedures.
-
Manage, monitor, and order clinic stock and equipment while preventing loss and ensuring cold chain integrity.

Demonstrate financial and commercial awareness.

Maintain up-to-date SANC registration and professional indemnity.
-
Establish locum networks and arrange temporary staffing as needed.

Conduct self-audits and ensure continuous quality improvement.
