Responsibilities

Supervise van sales representatives to ensure maximum profitability and business growth.

Lead and embed a customer-focused sales culture.

Conduct daily Gate Meetings to review market performance and focus on KPIs.

Coach sales staff effectively to increase capability and performance.

Conduct in-market coaching of van sales representatives.

Ensure 100% outlet coverage within assigned routes.

Visit customers individually to address specific issues and opportunities.

Drive business development and growth of the customer base.

Attend meetings as required and implement internal and external growth strategies.

Align teams with strategic directions and manage change effectively.

Conduct regular training sessions on critical business skills with the training team.

Perform regular performance reviews to drive accountability and results.
Qualifications
-
3-year Business or Commercial tertiary qualification or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an FMCG environment, including at least 1 year in a sales role.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong customer relations and results-driven mindset.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Analytical thinking with the ability to apply insights to drive sales growth.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Ability to identify sales opportunities, influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively.

Skilled in accessing, analyzing, and applying sales data to improve performance.
