Job Overview
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by protecting people, property, and assets. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and strict adherence to security procedures and standards.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Grade 10
• Grade C accredited and registered
• At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry
• Clear criminal record
• Willingness to undergo regular criminal record checks
• Physically fit and able to perform security duties
• Reside within the area of operation

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of premises
• Control access at entrances and exits in line with security protocols
• Safeguard property, assets, and personnel
• Complete and maintain all required registers accurately
• Compile clear and detailed incident and occurrence reports
• Perform standard security duties in accordance with training and company procedures

Core Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Capable of following instructions accurately and consistently
