Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Intermediate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience using WMS Cargo Write or a similar Warehouse Management System
Job-Related Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a warehouse environment
- Proven experience in stock control and inventory management
- Knowledge of inbound, outbound, and returns processes
- Ability to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Experience managing and leading teams of 20 or more employees

- Strong planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and monitoring skills
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards

Main Purpose of the Role
The Supervisor is responsible for leading, coordinating, and controlling retail outbound operations at the DSV Park, Plumbago Distribution Centre to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Tasks – Outbound
- Supervise outbound operations to ensure accurate and on-time order dispatch
- Provide daily operational reports to management on order status, stock levels, and dispatch performance
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Conduct hourly floor walks to ensure health, safety, and process compliance
- Drive the team to achieve daily outbound KPIs and performance targets
- Maintain 5S standards across outbound areas
- Ensure adherence to SPQRCE standards and operational procedures
- Recognize and reward strong performance and positive behavior
- Manage disciplinary matters related to performance or non-compliance
- Communicate operational challenges and risks to management
- Support physical outbound activities when required to resolve bottlenecks
- Maintain team motivation and focus on service excellence
Weekly Tasks – Outbound
- Compile and present weekly outbound performance and KPI reports
- Investigate discrepancies and complete CAPA documentation
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review performance and set improvement actions
- Manage outbound-related projects and process optimization initiatives
- Resolve team conflicts and performance-related issues
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to align operational objectives
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
Monthly Tasks – Outbound
- Ensure full health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Monitor and manage client-specific KPIs and service level requirements
- Analyze monthly outbound performance data and identify trends
- Recognize and reward consistent high performers
- Review and update continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and client requirements
- Support training and development to maintain operational excellence
