Job Purpose

The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and operating refrigeration plants to ensure minimal downtime, cost efficiency, and optimal energy usage. The role involves diagnosing and resolving faults on all refrigeration equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain refrigeration plants to ensure reliable operation.
• Operate refrigeration systems efficiently, optimizing energy usage and minimizing operational costs.
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on all refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, fault diagnosis, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to safety, energy efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
