Maintenance Operator Gr 2 Mechanical – Sasol careers

Purpose of Job
Support the maintenance of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and equipment. Operate mechanical devices and systems while accurately collecting field data to ensure optimal productivity.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist and support artisans to ensure safe and effective task execution.
• Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
• Ensure tools are properly packed, stored safely, and controlled.
• Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
• Prepare and arrange tools required for various tasks as instructed by artisans.
• Assist with installation and removal of machine components.
• Identify and use the correct oils or lubricants for maintenance tasks.
• Drive and deliver samples as required.

Formal Education

• Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
• CHIETA NQF Level 2 (Mechanical)

Working Experience

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience

Licenses

• Driver’s License
