Job Purpose:
Deliver exceptional service by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting and managing merchandise effectively, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping to build customer loyalty and maximize sales.
Job Objectives:
- Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and recommend the most suitable products and services to meet their needs.
- Drive beauty department sales through promotion, cross-selling, and upselling to consistently achieve monthly targets.
- Monitor sales performance, evaluate product offerings, and provide suggestions to improve product range and increase sales.
- Stay up-to-date with all beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
- Execute operational activities efficiently, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.
- Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met.
- Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and providing a friendly and professional service.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
- Increase profitability and brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
- Support Clicks’ position as the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving company values.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
- Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding and application of selling principles
- Retail/FMCG experience with merchandising and promotion knowledge
- Stock management knowledge
- Customer service excellence
- Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
