Affinity Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Admission Specialist to ensure a seamless and informed admission process for patients entering our healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional passionate about patient care, relationship-building, and improving the overall patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments to determine patient suitability for our services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring doctors, medical professionals, case managers, and insurers.
• Promote hospital services through presentations, events, and direct engagement with healthcare stakeholders.
• Travel regularly to assess patients and represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and networking events.
• Coordinate admissions with hospital teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Maintain accurate records, track admission trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse or full registration with the HPCSA.
• Experience in patient admissions, case management, healthcare liaison, or marketing roles is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region.
