Key Responsibilities:
- Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, delivering trusted security solutions to customers.
- Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and related security products.
- Consistently exceed monthly sales targets through proactive prospecting and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven sales experience with a strong track record, preferably in capital goods or technical sales.
- Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC, AJAX, or similar alarm systems is advantageous.
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- PSIRA registered – Grade C.
Job Requirements & Attributes:
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven in a target-focused environment.
- Strong selling ability with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Clear communication, confident presentation, and effective negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet-based tools.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Strong hunter mindset with a passion for electronic and technical solutions.
Duties:
- Generate, manage, and close deals using self-sourced and internally generated leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and key partners.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track performance and pipeline progress.
- Manage sales administration with accuracy and attention to detail.
Performance Standards:
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets while driving new client acquisition.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Ensure prompt follow-up on all leads and quotations to maximize conversion.
