About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Brewing Operator to join our team, responsible for ensuring optimal performance across all brewery operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Plant and Process Operations:
- Operate and optimize the Brew House, Fermentation, Filtration, and Packaging (kegging and bottling) plants and processes.
- Perform housekeeping duties in line with 5S principles and maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and correct unsafe work practices.
- Support the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures, including quick-fix routines and problem resolution.
Quality Control and Analysis:
- Conduct required quality checks and analyses, recording results accurately in the relevant information system.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve quality issues, escalating unresolved problems to BAM.
Communication:
- Actively participate in team meetings, goal reviews, and shift handovers.
- Record issues, problems, and improvement opportunities using relevant tools such as the gap list.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding plant performance and quality matters.
Problem Solving:
- Respond promptly to upstream or downstream triggers to prevent out-of-control process situations.
- Apply problem-solving methods (e.g., 5Y, quick-fix routines) to identify and correct issues.
- Collaborate with teams and contribute to skill development of fellow Brewery Technicians.
- Demonstrate initiative, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach in an unstructured environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology.
- Completed IST in Brewing.
- Experience in a New Product Development (NPD) process environment.
- Ability to work shifts and adapt to flexible schedules.
