Role Overview
As a Video Editor, you will transform raw footage into captivating, scroll-stopping videos for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Native. Your work will directly impact campaign performance, bringing ideas to life through creative storytelling and precise editing.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
• Edit high-quality video content optimized for social media engagement
• Perform cutting, color correction, transitions, graphics, text overlays, animations, and audio enhancements
• Optimize video formats, resolutions, and durations for platform-specific standards
Content Adaptation & Versioning
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, Shorts)
• Implement feedback efficiently to meet production deadlines
Creative Collaboration
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand campaign goals and translate them into compelling video narratives
• Contribute ideas on storytelling, content structure, and motion design during creative sessions
Social Media Trends & Best Practices
• Stay updated on video trends, platform updates, and emerging tools
• Use performance analytics to refine future edits
Asset Management & Quality Control
• Maintain organized file structures and naming conventions
• Archive and back up final edits, raw footage, and project files
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations, platform specifications, and brand standards
Motion Graphics & Basic Animation (Advantageous)
• Design and integrate simple motion graphics and animated text using tools like After Effects
• Customize templates and create original animations to enhance storytelling
Candidate Requirements
• 1–2 years of video editing experience
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
• Excellent command of English
• Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and goal-driven
• Comfortable with learning new concepts and executing with precision
