About the Program
Value Logistics is seeking a driven Sales Representative to grow revenue across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role focuses on new business development, account management, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that create long-term customer value.
Purpose of the Job
The Sales Representative is responsible for expanding and managing a diverse customer portfolio by prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and achieving revenue growth through solution-based selling aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new customers across multiple market sectors
- Grow and retain existing accounts to drive repeat and long-term business
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Manage customer credit applications, payment terms, and follow-up on collections
- Present and promote Value Logistics services and solutions to new and existing clients
- Address customer queries, resolve objections, and provide effective solutions
- Track customer feedback, competitor activity, and market pricing trends
- Execute sales initiatives aligned with marketing campaigns and business strategy
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
- Follow daily route plans and conduct scheduled customer visits on time
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 5–10 years’ proven sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
