Organisational Design Specialist – Job Description

  • Administer, score, interpret, and provide detailed feedback on psychometric assessments in line with HPCSA guidelines
  • Make recommendations based on job profiles and assessment outcomes
  • Update the Assessment Matrix and maintain the assessment database
  • Assist the OD Manager in facilitating team-building sessions
  • Provide analytical support to succession planning and talent management processes
  • Compile and maintain talent information databases ensuring data integrity
  • Generate analytics and reports for Manager and Senior Manager review
  • Conduct research on assessment and talent management best practices
  • Advise stakeholders on the implementation of OD processes
  • Support the OD Manager in designing project roadmaps for OD and HR initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational design frameworks
  • Prepare organograms, project trackers, and progress reports for OD interventions
  • Conduct job analysis and provide subject matter expertise for job profiles
  • Ensure job profiles for new or changed positions meet organisational requirements
  • Facilitate consultation and communication processes regarding organisational changes
  • Update relevant platforms with revised job profiles and organisational structures
  • Provide expert advice and amend structures as required, obtaining approval from OD Manager and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align structures with job architecture, career paths, and profiles
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather assessment and job profiling information
  • Coordinate with external service providers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, including EEA, BCEA, LRA, and POPIA

Organisational Design Specialist – Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • BCom/BA Degree in Industrial Psychology or related field
  • Registered Psychometrist with the HPCSA
  • HPCSA-registered Psychologist (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in organisational development/design and psychometric assessments in a mid-sized organisation
  • Specialist experience in at least two of the following:
    • End-to-end psychometrics
    • Performance management
    • Talent management
    • Succession management
  • Aviation industry experience (advantageous)
  • Certified to administer and interpret assessments, including:
    • Top Talent Solutions suite
    • WRISC (JvR)
    • CPP (advantageous)
