About the Role
Truworths Careers is seeking a driven and dynamic Store Supervisor to support store leadership in the effective day-to-day management of the store. This role plays a vital part in driving promotions, managing new accounts, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager, Floor Manager, and Admin Manager in daily store operations
• Ensure MBP and visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained
• Uphold high in-store housekeeping and visual appeal standards
• Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures
• Conduct and assist with hanger counts and stock control processes
• Perform regular spot checks at the service desk and fitting rooms
• Provide feedback to management on best and poor-selling merchandise
• Assist with staff training, recruitment, performance management, and IR processes
• Drive in-store promotions and maximize sales opportunities
• Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
• Oversee new account openings and credit processes
• Manage queues efficiently to enhance the customer experience
• Complete administrative duties, including admin checks and audit follow-ups

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous retail experience in a supervisory role
• Computer literacy
• Strong administrative and credit knowledge

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
